The Wildcats will now travel to Boise, Idaho and take part in the Jacksons Invite/New Balance Boise Indoor meet. Director of Track and Field Dan Walker is looking for the team to continue to make strides at another great meet. lt;br />"The facility at Boise State is world-class a they have hosted NCAA Indoor Championships," Walker said. "It's a facility that we can get better on. We are basically expecting the whole team to improve. We had some nice improvements in our second meet. We need to continue to make those improvements." lt;br /> lt;br />STOKES NAMED BIG SKY ATHLETE OF THE WEEK lt;br />Jamie Stokes, a junior from Ogden, Utah, was named the Big Sky Women's Track Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Washington Invitational. Her time of 4:43.86 in the mile was a new school record and 7-second personal best. She was the fastest collegiate in her event. That time is currently 20th in the nation, with the top 16 qualifying for nationals. Stokes is a 7-time All-Conference performer in both cross country and track. lt;br /> lt;br />RICKS RISES TO THE OCCASION lt;br />Trevor Ricks, a senior from Apline, Wyoming, ran a new personal-best in the mile while winning his heat at the Washington Invitational. His time of 4:06.18 is the seventh fastest time in school history. lt;br />Jeremy Tolman holds the school record with a time of 3:59.99 that he set in 2001. lt;br /> lt;br />TONY BLASTS PAST THE COMPETITION lt;br />Tony Osheku Jr., a junior from Salt Lake City, Utah, opened up his indoor season for the Wildcats at the Snake River Open. Osheku ran a new personal-best in the 60-meter dash, 6.98. That time is the eightth fastest time in school history and qualified him for the conference meet. He also ran a personal-best in the 200-meters, 22.06.
