The Westminster cross country teams competed in the Utah Open that was by the University of Utah at Murray Park. The event consisted of a Women's 4k and Men's 6k race.
The Frontier Conference announced that three Westminster student-athletes have been named player of the week today. Commissioner Kent Paulson announced this week's winners for action between August 24-31.
The Westminster cross country teams opened up the 2014 campaign on Saturday morning at the Utah State Invitational. The men competed in a four-mile race with the women racing five kilometers at the Campus Wellness Park in Logan, Utah.
